What is it that can save your dish from falling flat? The right seasoning will be able to revive that life in your dish and bring about a wonderful change in the aroma and taste. Spices can do wonders to a simple dish from making it tasty, exotic and smell good. Spices are either added by themselves, whole or ground, or can be combined and put in a dish to give out the most tantalizing smell. Thus it is the most commonly found and used spice.  A sprinkle of salt and pepper over a plain boiled potato or egg will change its taste completely making it more palatable.
